Social media for beauty salons

A fully booked salon and an active profile — without writing posts after hours

Between appointments there is no time to come up with posts. Socialu plans your Facebook and Instagram posts, writes the captions and prepares graphics in your salon’s style — you just approve them.

  • A plan several weeks ahead
  • Captions and graphics in your style
  • Nothing goes live without your OK

In short

What an active profile does for a beauty salon

A client looking for gel nails or a facial usually checks the salon’s profile before she books. She wants to see whether the salon is active, what the results look like and how easy it is to get an appointment. A profile whose last post is three months old makes people wonder if the salon is still open.

Running a salon’s social media is mostly about consistency: 2–4 posts a week, photos of results (with clients’ consent), free slots, aftercare tips and answers to common questions. Socialu takes over the planning and the content, and you decide what gets published.

Who it’s for

What salons struggle with on social media

No time between clients

Posts get written late at night or not at all. The autopilot plans several weeks ahead and prepares content before you even think about it.

Photos that don’t do the result justice

Socialu crops your photos for each network, adds text in your salon’s colours and turns them into a before-and-after post or carousel.

Empty slots in the diary

A post or story saying “free slot on Thursday” is ready in a minute — exactly when a gap opens up.

The same questions in your inbox

“How much is a brow tint?”, “Any slots this week?” — the AI suggests replies in your salon’s voice, you approve them.

Sample week

A week of posts the autopilot might prepare

The plan adapts to your salon’s goal, the season and your treatments. You can change any post or move it to another day.

  1. Monday

    Instagram · Carousel

“5 aftercare mistakes that shorten the life of your gel manicure” — a tip that shows you know your craft.

  2. Wednesday

    Facebook · Before and after

Brow transformation: two photos, a short description of the treatment and how long it takes. Published with the client’s consent.

  3. Thursday

    Instagram · Story

“A slot just opened up tomorrow at 3 pm” — with a contact sticker. Ready in a minute when your diary changes.

  4. Saturday

    Instagram · Reel

15 seconds of setting up and the final result — from your short clip, with captions.

Autopilot

A calendar that fills itself

You set the goal (for example more bookings) and how much the autopilot may do on its own. By default every post waits for your approval.

  • A 7–28 day plan mixing tips, results and offers
  • Suggested best times to post
  • Publishing at the scheduled time to connected accounts

Video

Reels from short phone clips

Film a few seconds while you work — Socialu edits a reel with captions and a description. Clients can record video reviews through a link, with no app to install.

  • Automatic captions and silence trimming
  • Ready-made reel ideas for salons
  • Video reviews with the client’s consent

Questions

Questions from salon owners

How often should a beauty salon post?

To start with, 2–4 posts a week on Instagram and Facebook plus stories when a slot opens up are enough. Consistency matters more than volume — that’s why the autopilot plans weeks ahead.

Can I post photos of my clients?

Only with their consent. You can blur faces in the image editor, and for reviews recorded through a link the client’s consent is saved in the consent history.

Does Socialu know my salon’s treatments?

Yes — from your website, price list and brand settings. Treatment names, prices and banned phrases (for example medical claims) are set in your brand rules.

Are posts published automatically?

Only if you switch on the full autopilot. By default every post waits for your approval.

How much of my time does it take?

Usually as long as it takes to review a few posts and snap a couple of photos at work. We don’t promise a number of new clients — that depends on your salon, location and offer — but consistency no longer depends on your free evenings.
